Mood24

An espresso on a wooden Mood24 branded tray beside a card listing the bean's origin and tasting notes

Mood24 splits its day into three deliberate acts near Mercato delle Erbe, specialty coffee in the morning, an Emilian style country brunch through midday, and aperitivo with cocktails and boards once evening comes. The house blend combines Brazilian and Ethiopian beans, pulled as espresso or run through moka, batch brew, and V60, inside a minimalist room built around a curved bar counter that leans more Northern European than Bolognese.

The brunch menu keeps a local accent, sourdough with poached egg, salmon toast, mortadella, and croissants filled with jam from the Casentino forests. Regulars know the shop almost as well for its resident dog, who gets namechecked often enough by the owner to count as part of the team.
