Refinery is a minimal coffee shop in Mitte, a short walk from Friedrichstraße station, with a stone fronted entrance, hanging bulbs and a plywood window bar. It pours fine coffee roasted by local roasters and features a different single origin each month, usually from Africa or South America.

Espresso comes off a Spirit machine, and the beans are ground on Mahlkönig EK43 and Mazzer Robur grinders. Sandwiches, cakes and cookies are made fresh in house with seasonal, regional ingredients. The shop is open Monday to Saturday and closed on Sundays.
