Coffee Circle Wedding

Coffee Circle was founded in 2010 by Martin Elwert, Robert Bach, and Moritz Waldstein-Wartenberg with a specific goal, building a transparent coffee trade where farmers are paid well above world market price and where customers can trace a bag back to the actual grower. The company buys green coffee in person at origin in Ethiopia, Colombia, and Kenya, roasts everything in its own Berlin roastery, and posts the name and story behind each microlot, a recent one was a washed Honduras lot from grower Marisa Dilcia Vasquez on her own small plot at Finca La Piedra, alongside a running donation of one euro per kilogram sold into farmer education and health projects.

The Wedding cafe, opened alongside the company's Berlin office, functions as both the public face of that supply chain and a genuinely laptop friendly neighborhood spot, with plenty of table space, a tahini caramel brownie regulars single out alongside the coffee, and a rotating seasonal menu that runs past the standard filter and espresso list into drinks like hojicha latte. It is also where Coffee Circle hosts cupping sessions open to the public, treating the cafe as an extension of the direct trade story rather than just a place to grab a to go cup.
