Academia do Café

Academia do Cafe started in 2011 as a coffee training center before adding a cafe in 2013, and moved in August 2026 into a larger, integrated space next door to its original address that combines the cafe, coffee school, roastery and a tasting room under one roof. The operation runs its own farm, Fazenda Esperanca in Campos Altos, now in its fifth generation, alongside direct relationships with outside producers.

As an SCA accredited school as well as a working cafe, the room functions as both a place to drink coffee and a place to learn to make it, with a summer signature drink called Limaozin that pairs rangpur lime concentrate with cold brew. Pets are welcome at the counter.
