Belgrade · Lower Dorćol
D59B

Slavko Marković, Andrija Erić, and Marko Basarovski opened Belgrade's first micro roastery and specialty coffee shop in Lower Dorćol, taking the name D59B straight from the Dobračina 59b address where it started. The concept stayed deliberately narrow from day one, coffee and water only, no tea, no food, no frills competing for attention.
That minimalism is credited locally with kick starting the city's whole specialty coffee movement, a reference point every newer Belgrade roaster gets measured against. Long daily hours, open into the evening seven days a week, keep the original room as central to the scene now as it was when it opened.
