Three Marks Coffee

The roastery counter at Three Marks Coffee with bagged beans on shelving and a view out to the street

The name is a play on words, two of the three founders are named Marco and the third is Marc, Marc Aguyé, Marco De Rebotti, and Marco Paccagnella, who between them had spent years around Barcelona's early specialty scene before deciding to open something of their own in 2018. It took until September 2020 to get their own roaster installed, two years of building the shop's identity on someone else's beans before they could finally roast under their own name.

The space in Fort Pienc, just off the Eixample, is compact by design, built more for a quick, well made cup than for lingering. Beans are sold both by the cup and in bags to take home, with wholesale relationships now reaching as far as the United States.
