Frutas Selectas is the Poblenou address of Nomad Coffee, the Barcelona roaster, set on Carrer de Pujades in a room redesigned by Skye Maunsell and Jordi Veciana that mixes industrial and contemporary touches with a warm, neighbourhood feel. White Nomad bags fill the shelves behind the bar, so what is brewed on the day is what you can take home.

The bar pours espresso and filter, and the room also hosts guest roasters, who take over the bar for a few days with cuppings and a full menu of their coffees on espresso and pour over. Weekday mornings start early, and the shop closes at 18:00 on weekdays.
