Café Fargo

Café Fargo is a small specialty coffee shop on Carrer de la Marina, close to the Sagrada Família yet tucked away from the busiest streets around the basilica. It is a one room place with a La Marzocco machine and a short list of coffees from roasters across Europe, and the beans on offer change every couple of weeks, so a return visit rarely means the same cup.

The room is compact and the coffee is the point: espresso and filter both come from whichever guest roaster is on rotation, poured through a La Marzocco machine behind a small counter. That makes it an easy reset between sights on the way to or from the basilica, and a place where the same order can taste different from one fortnight to the next.
