Abyss Coffee Roasters

Abyss keeps the founding story deliberately out of the picture, crediting no single name and instead describing a team who each found their own way into specialty coffee before landing here together. What they built out at the far end of the Diagonal, past where most visitors bother to walk, runs a full micro lot reserva program with the roaster visible from the bar, equal parts roastery, classroom, and a place to sit for a while.

Single origin lots rotate through in bags to take home alongside the espresso and pour over menu, an Ethiopia Boku Esayas among the standing releases. The room reads modern and light rather than industrial, close enough to the marina that palm trees and boat masts show up in the windows on a clear day.
