Brave Roasters

Brave Roasters' third floor room at Siam Discovery, people working at laptop tables by the window with a legible BRAVE sign on the glass door at left

Ekameth Wipvasutt, known as Tay, started Brave as a wholesale only roasting operation in 2013, before Bangkok's specialty scene had much of a shape at all, and this tucked away third floor counter inside Siam Discovery's O.D.S Zone grew out of that early roastery. Tay went on to win the 2023 World AeroPress Championship, a result that still anchors Brave's reputation as a serious technical operation rather than a mall novelty, and the brand runs a seed to cup model that keeps the team visiting Thai growers like Supon Chaosuwanwilai at his Sirinya farm in the north.

Most regulars order V60 and filter coffee built around rotating Thai lots, including small experimental lots processed with extended open air fermentation, alongside quinoa salads, smoked salmon sandwiches and a coffee bean soft serve. The room sits past the furniture and pottery displays on the mall's third floor, deliberately hard to stumble on, with spacious seating that quiet working crowds have adopted as an escape from the shopping floor below.
