Merit Coffee Mueller

Merit's Mueller cafe opened in early 2026, the brand's fourth in Austin, on Aldrich Street in the redeveloped Robert Mueller airport district. The site is just steps from Mueller Lake Park and its trails, so the cafe serves walkers, cyclists and neighbors from Windsor Park, Cherrywood and University Hills as much as people passing through.

A glass fronted corner unit under a bold red Merit sign gives the room plenty of daylight. The bar serves specialty coffee from responsibly sourced beans, with espresso drinks, cold brew and a food menu designed for quick visits and slower mornings. Merit began in San Antonio and roasts its own coffee in Texas. The cafe opens at half past six on weekdays and at seven on weekends, closing at seven every evening.
