Flitch Coffee

The silver trailer of Flitch Coffee under a shady tree, with a covered order window, a neon open sign, a wooden deck and a dog standing on the steps

Flitch Coffee operates from a remodeled 1952 Spartan trailer at Holton and Tillery in East Austin, on a lot it shares with Harvest Lumber Company, a sawmill and lumber warehouse. The trailer window faces a gravel yard of outdoor tables under the trees, and the setting feels more like a working yard than a polished cafe, which is much of the appeal.

The coffee comes from other roasters rather than being roasted on site, with Creature Coffee, Proud Mary Coffee Roasters and Onyx Coffee named among its partners, and the shop also carries Zhi Teas. Baked goods and breakfast tacos come from nearby makers, including Sour Duck Pastries and Pueblo Viejo Tacos. Flitch opens every day from seven in the morning until three in the afternoon.
