El Tigre Coffee Roasters

The weathered wooden gate and sign at El Tigre Coffee Roasters with a painted tiger head, a glowing open sign and a picnic table in the yard

El Tigre Coffee Roasters began as a vintage coffee trailer and in September 2026 moved into a permanent home on East 12th Street, a 520 square foot bungalow in a small compound developed by owner Tatanka Guerrero. The new room is hardly bigger than the trailer it replaces, but it adds indoor seating and a patio, and a service window still handles quick stops.

The coffee is roasted in house, and the menu stays short, built around a signature latte, a Mexican drip coffee made with cinnamon and a few simple extras. Pastries, tacos and bagels appear on weekdays, with local food partners joining at the weekend. The bungalow sits beside a tattoo studio and other small businesses, and the shop is open until three each afternoon.
