Desnudo Coffee

A latte with leaf latte art in a white Desnudo paper cup stamped with blue lettering and two small birds, set against green leaves

Desnudo, the Spanish word for naked, was started by the Colombian brothers Sergio and Juan Trujillo, who built their coffee trailer themselves and parked it in a food truck park on Webberville Road in East Austin. The coffee comes from farms in Colombia they work with directly, with the brothers involved in processing, education and facility improvements at the source.

Roasting happens in Austin, and the offer moves through micro lots that explore fermentation, varieties and processing, sold as bags and through memberships shipped weekly. The East Austin trailer opens at seven on weekdays and half past seven on weekends, and closes in the early afternoon. The brothers also run a downtown cafe.
