Espresso Workshop Britomart

Espresso Workshop's public espresso bar sits in the Atrium on Takutai at 11 Britomart Place, a bright room of wood and steel a few steps from the station and the harbour. It is the city centre home of a local roastery that has been championing specialty single origin coffee in Auckland since 2007.

Coffee is prepared as espresso or as a pour over filter, with the single origin lots changing as new harvests arrive, and a cabinet of sweet and savoury bites sits alongside. The roastery buys only traceable green coffee, knowing the producer, altitude, variety and process behind each lot, and the baristas happily talk newcomers through what is on the bar. The entrance and seating are both step free.
