Coffee General

Coffee General has been a Birkenhead fixture since 2012, opening at six on weekday mornings at 100 Hinemoa Street with a cosy seating area, high stools along the window and a few seats outside. It is a friendly neighborhood bar built around the simple idea of serving really good coffee.

It is also home to ALLIES Artisan Coffee Roasters, so the single origins, signature blends and daily rotating batch brew are roasted close by and poured as espresso or hand brewed filter. Light bites sit alongside the drinks, and bags of beans and brewing gear are on the shelf for taking the experience home.
