Valor Coffee Dunwoody

Valor Coffee began in 2016 when three friends, Ross Walters, Riley Westbrook and Ethan Rivers, funded a mobile espresso cart through Kickstarter and took it to weddings, film sets and offices. They began roasting in 2018, opened a cafe in downtown Alpharetta the following year, and in 2023 brought the brand to a second cafe in Dunwoody Village, a roomier space of around two thousand square feet.

The coffees carry names that describe their flavor, such as the Freethrow blend, which tastes of chocolate milkshake, strawberry and nougat, and the Hayride fall blend with toasted marshmallow and clove, plus single origins from Ethiopia, Nicaragua and Colombia. The cafe also sells subscriptions, brewing gear and merchandise, and opens at seven on weekdays and eight at the weekend, closing at five.
