Guild + Journeyman

Guild + Journeyman is a bike shop, coffee counter and shared workspace on Clairemont Avenue in Decatur, built around the idea that a car free life can be a good one. The team builds, repairs and customizes bikes and sells small gadgets that make riding more usable, and for several years the front of the building has served as a community haven for people from the neighborhood and visitors from elsewhere.

Espresso, drip coffee and cold brew are always made with Radio Roasters beans, with guest roasters from around the southeast joining in, and tea and baked goods sit on the shelves of a self service grab and go market called JourneyMart. A Guild Espresso and Tea popup runs from eight until noon, Monday to Saturday, and daily, weekly and monthly memberships cover the coworking tables. The shop is closed on Sundays.
