Black Coffee ATL Westside

Black Coffee ATL began as a pop up and opened its first shop in Castleberry Hill in 2019, then moved in September 2023 to The Vivian Complex on the Westside extension of the Beltline. The brick building looks out over a courtyard with cafe tables, and inside a long concrete bar runs beneath black pendant lamps, with walls that carry rotating paintings by Atlanta artists.

The team buys beans from Devoción, Onyx and Counter Culture and makes every syrup in house. Alongside espresso drinks there is ceremonial grade matcha and a list of signature lattes named after songs and artists, with a hip hop and R&B playlist setting the tone. It stays open until eight on weekdays and four on weekends, and the room can be booked for private events.
