Williwaw Café & Canteen

Williwaw pours coffee roasted by Handpickers, the Kallithea based roastery, inside a quiet Kypseli space built around sandwiches, focaccia, and a rotating pastry case rather than a competition trained barista program. A geometric orange and blue mural above the display shelving, painted during a residency by the artist Onebran, anchors a room that leans more design studio than typical Athens coffee bar, custom lighting included.

Plant based milks and a genuinely vegan pastry case run alongside the standard espresso and filter menu, a pairing still uncommon in a city where vegan options usually trail specialty coffee itself. The kitchen's cinnamon rolls and granola yogurt draw as much repeat traffic as the coffee, and seating along Kerkiras gives the shop a foothold in a residential stretch of northern Athens still short on genuine specialty options.
