Amsterdam · De Baarsjes
White Label Coffee

Part of a small Amsterdam group built around a dedicated Roastery elsewhere in the city, White Label's De Baarsjes location runs a long, stepped interior with the counter set on a raised platform and the house roasted beans stocked on a proper retail shelf rather than an afterthought. Filter Notes singled it out early for both the room and the coffee, back when the neighborhood itself was still a quieter, more residential stretch of Amsterdam-West than the food and coffee strip it has become since.
The group has since grown to a second Amsterdam site sharing a building with restaurant Spaanders, plus an outpost in Haarlem under a different name, but this Jan Evertsenstraat address remains the original cafe. Bagged beans are sold in 250-gram bags at the counter. Family friendly and dog friendly, open seven days a week.
