Taal means language, and the idea here is that coffee is one everybody speaks. The beans come from a rotating group of European roasters chosen for quality, transparency and distinctive flavor, brewed as precise espresso and filter that changes through the week, with seasonal drinks and pastries from several Amsterdam bakeries alongside.

The room is light and calm, with red tables and wooden chairs behind a big window and a few seats outside. Dogs are always welcome and families too, and one large table is set aside for people working on laptops. Bags from the roasters on the shelf can be taken home.
