Ikinari Coffee

Ikinari runs the coffee bar inside Sauvage, a multi purpose space on Potgieterstraat that works as café, wine room and event venue. The name is Japanese for suddenly, and the little bar keeps that spirit with specialty coffee, matcha, tea and homemade sweets served on a short Wednesday to Sunday schedule.

Espresso, filter and plant milk options come with a morning rhythm, and the bar shares the room with exhibitions, tastings and gatherings, so what is on the walls changes from visit to visit. It opens at eight and closes mid afternoon.
