Footnote Coffee

Footnote Coffee is a small roaster and coffee bar on Van Woustraat, founded on the idea that complex coffee does not have to be difficult. Beans are roasted in small batches in Amsterdam, leaning light to medium, so natural sweetness and acidity stay in balance, with each roast shaped by the farm it comes from.

Behind the bar the focus is craft and a friendly welcome, and the shop doubles as a training space with barista courses and hands on coffee experiences. Bags of the house blend and rotating single origins are for sale to take home.
