DAK Coffee Roasters Showroom

DAK is an Amsterdam roastery founded in 2019 by two Canadians from Montreal who came to specialty coffee from outside the trade, and the Bellamyplein showroom is its public face. The roastery itself sits in Noord and is closed to visitors, so this quiet square in Oud West is where you drink the current menu at the bar, browse the whole collection on the shelves and pick up pieces made only for the showroom.

At the back, a private tasting room hosts guided sessions that line coffees up side by side, with open tastings on weekends and the occasional workshop on subjects like water chemistry and fermentation. The showroom opened in November 2024, replacing a small space inside the roastery that had outgrown its few open hours. Hammered metal, pale birch and concrete give the room a calm, gallery like feel, and payment is by card only.
