My Kingdom for a Horse

My Kingdom for a Horse has been part of Adelaide's coffee scene for more than ten years, roasting its own beans and building a following well beyond its original Wright Street home, which has since closed as the business expanded into several smaller CBD sites. The company sources specialty grade lots directly from producers and ethical buyers around the world, then roasts them locally into a rotating lineup of espresso blends, filter releases and single origins. Milk comes from Tweedvale in the Adelaide Hills, delivered straight from the farm rather than through a wholesaler.
The Pirie Street cafe seats around sixty people and runs an all day menu built around toasted sandwiches and pastries alongside the coffee list, with staff who pay close attention to dietary requests like gluten free and dairy free orders. Whole beans are sold by the bag in store and by subscription online, so a good visit can end with something to take home as well as a cup to drink there and then.
